Touchstones Keep Cups

It has been a long time coming, but we finally have our own range of Keep Cups available to purchase.

Working alongside Glenn, at Regiment Coffee (179 Orakei Road, Auckland, by the RSA), we have been honing the perfect coffee cups for feel, proportion and lids. There are a few to chose from, and being from the Touchstones family of ceramics, they are all beautifully individual and unique (a nice way of saying we get a bit bored with doing the same thing all the time so - we are never going to make great production potters!)

Scotts awesome keep cup forms are from his Mountain Lake collection - these are great for fitting in the car cup holders and have an awesome tall proportion to them with a great lip around the edge for sealing the lid. My keep cups are generally from the Pihanga Collection of raw black clay and a gloss interior - they are tactile, non slip, and designed for cradling in the hand, a lot lower in the cup height (and may or may not fit in your cup holder as a consequence!) - they fit a lid and are really designed for those who want to carry their coffee back to their desk/work. The volume of both is that of a ‘medium’ coffee - we are working on some larger size options at the moment.

We have provided a range to Regiment Coffee this week and they are available to purchase with your choice of silicone lid cover. If you would like a keep cup in a different Touchstones range, contact Glenn when you head in there for a coffee and let him know, and we will try and fit a few in the next firing schedule!
